Myfanwy is a part of the generation of family historians emerging in UK. Brought up on small hill farm in Mid-Wales to age 18, she was educated in Oswestry, Shropshire, and at Liverpool University. Moved to London 1986 and worked in international IT marketing. Currently an award winning garden designer and restorer based in St Asaph, North Wales.

He recently settled down long enough to complete a Master's in Semiotics from the University of Tartu, specializing in tourism and the cognition of place.
