Caroline Pearce
Caroline is a freelance academic and writer. Her current research focuses on the politics of emotion, analysing the rising political and public interest in happiness. Caroline has a BA in Sociology from the University of Derby and an MA in Sociology from the University of Manchester. Her past research has explored the experience of grief and loss and examined the role of emotions in qualitative research. She’s also worked as a research assistant at Loughborough University undertaking qualitative research into the experience of spinal injury.
