Gabriela Pedranti

Gabriela Pedranti is a communicator and cultural analyst. She holds a BA in Communications from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a MA in Contemporary Film and Audiovisual Studies (UPF, Barcelona, Spain). Along with semiotician Ximena Tobi, they own Semiotica Studio. Gabriela was the general coordinator of Semiofest 2013 Barcelona, and currently coordinates the BA Fashion Marketing and Communication at IED Barcelona, validated by the University of Westminster (UK). Since 2016, she's also been a lecturer at UPF.

Opal Cerdan

Author, critic, on the faculty of Tourism & Women's Studies at the Welsh campus of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes in Benllech, Anglesey. One of Opal's main areas of research is cross-dressing and subjectivity in Welsh political activism, with special reference to the Rebecca Riots of the 1830s and 1840s. She is also a postmodern cake designer creating fantastic icing sculptures with alcoves wherein may be displayed actual cake. Much acclaimed & decorated internationally, with awards for her work at the interface of patisserie, cultural insight & cyborg theory.

Hannah Hoel

Hannah Hoel has lived in London, New York, LA, DC and Santa Fe. She has degrees in visual culture, philosophy and fine arts. She was selected for the first cohort of SITE Santa Fe Scholars. Winner of Semionaut's first new writer award, Hannah currently works for Space Doctors and is based in Brighton UK. Hannah has written on arts and culture for THE Magazine, Adobe Airstream, The Santa Fean and the Huffington Post.
